The Canadian Ecology Centre is located in Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park in Calvin Township, which is situated in the unceded territory of the Algonquin people.
We acknowledge and thank the original and continuing caretakers of this land, the Algonquin people who have lived in this area since time immemorial. We recognize their continuing connection to the land and pay our respects to elders, past, present, and emerging.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION - DELAYS
Ontario Parks has started work to improve the campground entrance road to Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park. Although the park is closed for the season, guests of the Canadian Ecology Centre and local traffic may experience delays during active construction. Please use caution when accessing the park and yield to all signs and direction from construction workers.

Highlighted events will be a special “lighting” of the Labyrinth on Friday night, concluding with a concert with well known local musician, Moe McGuinty on Saturday evening.

Join the CEC for a spectacular event in celebration of the environment! Spend an evening with Dr. Garrett Herman, his passion for “All things Darwin” including his book “Darwin and Me”! There will be a social, draw prizes, silent auction, 3-course meal!
